Jet Grouting Technique

Jet Grouting Technique

With the jet grouting technique, a high-pressure jet of fluid is used to break up the soil in-situ and mix it with a self-hardening grout. The main advantage of this process is that large solidified soil/grout bodies can be produced in the ground with a relatively small drill string (drilling diameter approx. 15 cm). The possible applications are virtually limitless.

Range of applications:

  • Underpinning/retrospective foundations
  • Gap grouting
  • Deep and shallow horizontal cut-offs
  • Protective crowns in tunnel construction
  • Vertical cut-off walls
