Jet Grouting Technique
Jet Grouting Technique
With the jet grouting technique, a high-pressure jet of fluid is used to break up the soil in-situ and mix it with a self-hardening grout. The main advantage of this process is that large solidified soil/grout bodies can be produced in the ground with a relatively small drill string (drilling diameter approx. 15 cm). The possible applications are virtually limitless.
Range of applications:
- Underpinning/retrospective foundations
- Gap grouting
- Deep and shallow horizontal cut-offs
- Protective crowns in tunnel construction
- Vertical cut-off walls
